Kaleidiscopia City Harbour


Dirigibles float past the full moon above the Bridge of Sighs in this view of Kaleidiscop-ia Harbour.
The Kaleidiscopians were leaders in sea, air and space travel for hundreds of generations.
This so-called City of Gems was the capital of the planet Altama in the Cyclops Galaxy many billions of years ago.

A double sunset ushers in the first night of Winter on Jane's World. This planet orbits the double-star W0lf 424, only 14 light years away. Our sun is the bright star in the far upper left.


This world, and thousands of others, was named for Jane Sennett-- the heroine of The Great Calamity Of 2010.

Winter Storm In Kaleidiscopia City


This Jeweled City on Altama in the Cylcops Galaxy was often plagued by magnetic and electrical storms in its 10,000 year history. The legends of Kaleidiscopia City lasted millions of years after the planet died.

Melting Europa


The last of the ice melts away on the Jovian moon Europa in the distant future. The sun will expand 5 billion years from now, heating Jupiter to a bright orange colour and melting its frozen moons into liquid seas.


The warmer temperatures will also form an atmosphere on Europa. Life will flourish on Europa in the distant future, just as it does now!

Carnival on an alien planet could be very, very surreal! This planet was called Altama and its capital city was Kaleidiscopia. The inhabitants enjoyed riding around in bizarre balloons!

An Egg In The Asteroid Belt


A gigantic blue egg orbits the asteroid Vesta in the Asteroid Belt. Mars glows red in the background and the earth appears as a blue dot eclipsing the sun. The egg is 150 miles long and its shell is 5 mile thick. Something is growing inside....


The Egg will be discovered during the first manned expedition to the Asteroid Belt in 2078.

Agra, Petra, and Akwah


Agra is an agricultural world in the Andromeda Galaxy. It is mostly dry grasslands but sports a small ocean. It will be settled during the Third Wave, about 1,500 years from now.


Petra is the reddish moon. It is almost entirely made from quartz except for its small polar ice caps. The highest mountain on Petra is 20 feet!


Akwah is almost 100% pure fresh water. It supplies the drinking water to over 1,000 colony planets.

Neuyawk is a moon of the gas giant Gaspron seen in the upper left. It is one of the oldest colony worlds, settled in 2156, and is only 101 light years from Earth.
In a bizarre twist of fate, the Triple Towers were destroyed in a terrorist attack 09/11/2201!
