A bloated, grotesque sun rises over the remains of the Himalaya Mountains about a billion years from now. Malignant sunspots disfigure the sun's face. The earth is searing hot, almost 800 degrees! Lava and sulfurous geysers shape the landscape now. The human race abandoned the planet eons ago to colonize billions of other planets.
